WHY THIS ROLES IS IMPORTANT TO US:

As Senior AP Accountant you will be responsible for managing and overseeing key accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

What you will be Responsible for

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring that financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
  • Perform financial analysis and reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and providing recommendations for corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, accounting principles, and tax regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments, including HR and operations, to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial data
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into financial performance and trends
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency
  • Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records to support internal and external audits
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and internal controls
  • Overseeing the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and performance optimization
  • Assisting with month-end/year-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate financial data and optimize business operations

What We Value:

  • With 3-5 years of experience in accounting
  • Experience in managing and overseeing key accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. 
  • Experience in preparing financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and performing detailed financial analysis.
  • Experience in working closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, optimize resource allocation, and support financial decision-making.

Other Requirements:

  • Flexible schedule - EMEA hours

  • 2x a week RTO
