What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to join our dynamic Accounts Payable team. This "Process Super User" role is a critical link between the AP team and leadership, acting as a subject matter expert, mentor, and driver of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be an innovative problem-solver with a strategic mindset, who is passionate about optimizing processes and developing team members.
Responsibilities:

Process Ownership & Integration

• Develop and implement a unified process strategy to bridge the gap between the teams, fostering a "one team" culture.
• Document, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for both functions, and support adherence to the finance policies
• Act as the primary owner and expert for the e-invoicing process.

Continuous Improvement

• Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency gains and lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Champion the adoption of new technologies, including AI and automation, to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to departmental projects from concept to completion, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.

Team Leadership & Development

• Serve as a guide and support for the AP team, providing expertise and assistance with complex AP tasks.
• Act as a "buddy" and mentor for newcomers and interns, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
• Foster a culture of cross-training and knowledge sharing between the teams.

Strategic & Operational Excellence

• Combine strategic thinking with hands-on management of daily operations to ensure departmental goals are met.
• Take ownership of solving complex issues that arise within the team and across the department.
• Serve as the key AP representative in cross-functional projects. Collaborate with Procurement, Corporate Treasury, and other departments to ensure alignment on payment terms and supplier management.

Requirements:

•  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a must 
• Proven experience in Accounts Payable or related financial roles with a focus on strategic responsibilities. 
• Advanced MS Office skills, advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets. 

• Proficiency in English (additional European languages are a plus) 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment 
• Familiarity with PowerBI, RPA, VPA, PowerAutomate or PowerApps is a must 

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities 

• Demonstrated strategic thinking and project management skills 

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently 

• High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities

Incentive Compensation:

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 5% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
