3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable / Invoice Processing
Key Responsibilities
- Perform invoice posting activities using sub-systems integrated with finance platforms
- Process PO and Non-PO invoices with accurate validation and approvals as per company policies and procedures
- Conduct 2-way and 3-way matching (Invoice, PO, GR)
- Handle invoice discrepancies, rejections, and reprocessing in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Support system integration and migration activities during transition to the main ERP
- Interact with global stakeholders across US, Latin America, EMEA, and APAC regions
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, accuracy targets, and turnaround times
- Support month-end close activities for the Accounts Payable function within defined timelines
- Maintain proper documentation and compliance standards
- Ensure assigned AP KPIs are met, including timely invoice processing and effective query management
- Coordinate with business entities to resolve invoice-related queries and issues
- Assist in vendor reconciliation activities and support the AP team as required
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the AP Lead / Manager
Strategic, Skills & Competencies
- Support integration, migration, and knowledge transfer activities for new business acquisitions into the KL SSC
- Assist in process standardization between legacy entities and new entities
- Drive process consistency and adherence to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Identify process gaps, risks, and non-compliance with corporate policies and procedures
- Recommend best practices and improvement opportunities
- Participate in SOP documentation, updates, and process alignment initiatives
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Strong ability to communicate professionally with global, cross-cultural stakeholders
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments and business units to meet operational objectives
- Demonstrate clear, concise written and verbal communication, especially in a global MNC environment
Preferred / Added Advantage
- Exposure to MNC or shared services environment
- Experience supporting ERP integration or system transitions
- Prior interaction with US / EMEA stakeholders, including time-zone coordination
