As an AR/AP Specialist, you will be an integral part of CFGI’s accounting team. You will work in both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
Accounts Receivable:
· Help prepare, verify, and process customer invoices.
· Record and track customer payments, including the accurate application of cash to outstanding invoices.
· Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies or issues.
· Help monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up with customers on overdue accounts.
· Work with our collections department to provide accurate customer billing statements.
Accounts Payable:
· Review, verify, and track approvals to pay vendor invoices.
· Process payments to vendors, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
· Maintain accurate records of all payable transactions.
· Review and approve employee expense reports while ensuring compliance with company policies.
General Accounting Support:
· Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports.
· Maintain and update vendor and customer files.
· Support other accounting-related tasks as needed.
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable and/or accounts payable roles.
· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and Microsoft Office.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
· Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Offer packages are based on several factors, such as the specific role and level being hired for, location, as well as the individual's skills, experiences, and qualifications. The good-faith estimated base salary range for this position is: $50,000 - $70,000. In addition to the base compensation, CFGI offers a competitive benefits package and various bonus programs and incentives, based upon an individual’s level and overall work performance.
