General Accounts Payable Duties:
Invoice Processing
- Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and on time.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts.
- Ensure proper coding and compliance with internal policies.
Vendor Management
- Maintain and update vendor master data.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and payment issues.
- Ensure timely payments in accordance with agreed terms.
Account Reconciliation
- Reconcile vendor statements and AP ledger accounts.
- Investigate and resolve variances and discrepancies.
Expense Management
- Review and process employee expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with company travel and expense policies.
Month-End Closing
- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Prepare accruals and assist with audit documentation.
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
- Maintain accurate records for audit and reporting purposes.
