Position Overview:
The Anti-Reflective Coating Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing coating processes to enhance product performance.
This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills, project management experience, and knowledge of automation and lean tools.
Your Role
The role of an Anti-Reflective Coating Engineer will involve:
- Develop and implement anti-reflective coating processes for optical products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coating quality and efficiency.
- Utilize problem-solving tools and methodologies to address production challenges.
- Manage projects related to coating process improvements and automation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools and techniques.
- Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends to drive innovation.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of coating processes and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
Your Experience
As an Anti-Reflective Coating Engineer you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the optics industry with a focus on AR coatings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with automation and lean tools.
- Proven project management experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Portuguese or Spanish (preferable).
- Proactive and able to work independently while being a supportive team player.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
