JOB TITLE: ANODIZE LEVEL II - ANODIZER

JOB SUMMARY
Diamondback Industrial Finishes is currently seeking a motivated and talented individual for our Anodize Department in the Anodizing position. Our Anodize Department is made up of three different areas. Anodizing is the mid-level position to the department and opportunities for advancement are possible and encouraged. This role is primarily responsible for anodize and sandblast operations. Duties include performing sandblasting and anodizing operations while cleaning, inspecting and maintaining final product quality in accordance with established procedures.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 1 year of experience with hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Forklift certification preferred
  • 2+ years machine operation experience preferred
  • Sanding or sandblasting experience

CORE DUTIES

  • Responsible for shoveling or pouring sand, grit, or other abrasive material into the machine, and monitoring and maintaining an adequate supply of the abrasive in the hopper 
  • Prepare surfaces for the abrading action, protects specific areas of the work surface using masking film, tape, and rubber
  • Maintain equipment and work areas are clean and orderly, and that any unsafe working conditions are corrected or reported immediately
  • Maintenance of the sandblasting equipment, such as cleaning and changing nozzles
  • Keep track of part counts and complete shift logs daily
  • Ensure that SOPs are followed and corrected as necessary to maintain and improve machine efficiency 
  • Rack and load parts into anodize tanks according to production schedule
  • Monitor and maintain anodize process parameters, including tank times and temperatures, to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Inspect all parts before and after anodizing to verify correct finish and overall quality.
  • Clean, maintain and prepare anodize equipment and work areas to support continuous operations.
  • Ensure all parts are tracked, accounted for and correctly boxed at the end of the anodize process following ATF and process compliance standards.
  • Other duties as assigned

HOURS

  • 1st shift position
  • Monday through Thursday 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 
  • Friday - overtime as needed 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
