What You'll Be DoingThe Annuity Solutions Specialist II is responsible for supporting and marketing the Firm's annuity products (fixed, immediate, indexed, buffered, and variable) to Financial Advisors via the telephone, email, and Stifel's intranet (Portal). Annuity Solution Specialists II are product experts for branch personnel with product-specific questions and technical, sales, and/or marketing matters. This role demonstrates a strong knowledge of how annuities can be integrated into a financial plan through income and estate planning processes. Annuity Solutions Specialists II develop and deliver internal training for Financial Advisors and their associates that promote the discussion of annuities in the context of a complete financial plan. This role creates internal marketing campaigns and authors social media/Firm newsletter content to promote annuity concepts.
What We're Looking For•Develops and delivers internal training presentations and educational materials to promote the discussion of annuities as part of a complete financial plan.•Creates internal marketing campaigns to develop product awareness and increase sales penetration of annuity products using email and Stifel's intranet (Portal)•Supports Financial Advisors and their associates with any questions about annuities via the telephone and email.•Assists Financial Advisors in annuity reviews and case design while acting as a liaison between vendors and Financial Advisors (FA).•Creates content for social media and Firm newsletters.•Reviews new products/product changes and communicates them to Financial Advisors and their associates.•Performs due diligence on new and existing annuity vendors.•Acts as a back-up to Senior Specialist for training, Closer Look, and recruits.
What You'll Bring•Solid knowledge of marketing principles. This includes marketing strategy and outcome measurement.•Working knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods, including alternative ways to inform and gain interest via written, oral, and visual media.•General knowledge of compliance issues surrounding annuity products.
Education & Experience•Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a business-related field.•Minimum Required: 3+ years of industry-related experience.
Licenses & Credentials•Minimum Required: FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 within six months of hire.•Minimum Required: State Resident Life and Health Insurance License, State LTC designation.
Systems & Technology•Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.•Experience with WebEx webinar software.
