About this Position

Annuity Exchange Trade Principal coordinates with the team analysts, committee members, management teams and representatives to gather and present annuity exchange forms to the committee for approval decisions while ensuring that every committee member and field representative has a voice.
This is a hybrid position.
The estimated salary range for this role is: 55K -60K

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As primary host for committee meetings, will prep the daily agenda by reviewing of currently prepped forms for anything missed, review the forms still pending prep for emergency reviews, emails, conversations or any other potential exception request and putting them all together on either the paper of PEGA agenda, host committee meetings, record committee decisions and send out decisions. 
  • As the backup to the primary host for committee meetings, will assist in callouts, emails, research or other tasks required to make a decision or provide training to representatives. 
  • Acts as Annuity Exchange expert for escalated issues from Phone Reps or Annuity Exchange Analysts. The trade principal needs to understand the intricacies of the transaction and as the expert, determines if new information from the Field Rep may alter the committee’s decision and takes additional steps to coordinate with management to reintroduce to the committee.
  • Perform quality control checks on processed work as well as daily reconciliation to ensure all forms have been processed correctly within department standards. Assist in requesting missing letters, letter corrections, trade review and/or management requests. 
  • Assist the department in system testing efforts and any other duties as needed by management.
  • Is trained and acts as a back-up to the analysts to review and prepare forms for committee review. Work as a liaison with the field agent(s), Trade Review Trade Principles, internal management, and the PFSI Pre-Approval Committee to present accurate and detailed information regarding the transactions being reviewed. 
  • Assist management in monitoring statistical data, testing and daily work flow.
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • SIE required
  • Proficient with web-based systems and Microsoft Office
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Works well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Series 6, Series 26 preferred
