Job Summary:
The Annuity and Life Insurance Distribution teams are focused on the growth of insurance offerings across Chase Wealth Management, and J.P. Morgan Advisors. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the teams' strategic communication strategy across our U.S. Wealth Management Channels. This role requires a deep understanding of both life insurance and annuities, the team's strategic target markets, and strong leadership and communication skills. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and awareness of our annuity and insurance offerings across our wealth management channels, ensuring that advisors are well-informed and equipped with the necessary knowledge and planning to serve their clients effectively.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with partners, marketing colleagues, sales teams, and management teams across channels to plan, execute, and measure segment-specific marketing and training collateral.
  • Partner with management and sales to prioritize and manage marketing requests from the business, product manufacturers, and third-party distribution partnerships.
  • Manage the creation of content for the weekly Chase Wealth Management Daily Digest articles for both Annuities and Life Insurance, in collaboration with product and sales partners.
  • Oversee the Life Insurance and Annuity internal intranet pages to ensure product content, resources, and marketing materials are available and updated for Advisors and Field Leadership.
  • Manage and create marketing materials for all Life Insurance and Annuity content, working closely with Legal and Compliance partners to ensure content accuracy and appropriateness for Advisors.
  • Partner with JPMorgan's Wealth Management investment teams, and internal distribution channels to understand the current focus of advisors and develop collateral that meets advisor and client needs.
  • Drive marketing campaigns specific to Life Insurance and Annuities through partnerships with Field Leaders, creating content to drive sales on current strategies.
  • Project manage assigned tasks to completion with regular status updates to management.
  • Build and manage a forward-looking calendar of content in collaboration with Life Insurance and Annuities sales teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Establish connections with carrier partners to determine their marketing materials and how they can be utilized within the JPM framework.
  • Lead the Life Insurance and Annuities editorial board to ensure all Product and Sales teams are informed about upcoming communications or marketing materials/campaigns.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of both life insurance and annuities products, as well as the industry.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Knowledge of the annuity and retirement industry.
  • Knowledge of life insurance products and their uses within clients' financial plans for protection and wealth transfer planning.
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably within both life and annuity distribution.
  • Experience with project management is a must.
  • Strong writing skills are a must.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in an easy-to-understand fashion.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to understand impacts of simple to complex concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and be highly detail oriented.
  • The candidate should be driven and organized.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint required.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Understanding of how to position life insurance products within wealth management distribution channels is a plus.
