Overview:
THIS IS A TEMPORARY, TWO-DAY POSITION FOR THE OC ANNUAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS. MINIMUM NUMBER OF GUARANTEED HOURS IS 10. Olgoonik Corporation is seeking two (2) Annual Meeting Assistants to help with the OC Annual Meeting of Shareholders. The Assistants will support all aspects of set up, clean up, and coordination for the event. This may include pick-up and transportation of supplies, assisting with set up, and the packing and cleaning up of supplies at the venue and transportation of supplies after the event ends in the evening. This temporary position may require the Assistants to work more than 8 hours in one day during the OC Annual Meeting of Shareholders, as needed. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026. The Assistants will also be required to work in the afternoon on Friday, June 12, 2026, to help set up the event at the Alak Gym.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist Olgoonik staff with set-up for the OC Annual Meeting of Shareholders, including but not limited to:
- Picking up and transporting supplies from storage and/or the Olgoonik office to the event venue and general set up.
- Assisting venue staff and Olgoonik staff with setting up tables and chairs.
- Loading and unloading supplies, equipment, and boxes.
- Assisting with catering setup and cleanup.
- Assist Olgoonik staff with tasks relating to running the OC Annual Meeting of Shareholders, including but not limited to:
- Trash pick-up and cleaning throughout the event.
- Handing out shareholder giveaway items, assisting at registration, and/or helping with door prizes and tracking door prize winners.
- Assisting with and monitoring access to the event.
- Helping serves a buffet lunch to shareholders;
- Assisting Elders and shareholders, as needed.
- Running a mic to Elders during the Q&A session, as needed.
- Interacting and coordinating with venue staff, shareholders, Olgoonik staff, and other meeting attendees and representatives.
- Assist venue staff and Olgoonik staff with teardown, clean-up, and transportation of supplies after OC Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
- Valid driver’s license required.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Alaska’s food handler’s card is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to read, comprehend and follow instructions.
- Must demonstrate a good attitude and the ability to work as a member of a team.
- Ability to be self-motivated and to effectively under minimum supervision.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid Driver’s License is required.

The employee must occasionally lift 50lbs. Job requires the ability to perform tasks for set-ups/take-downs for the OC Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
Work Environment:
Work may be performed inside setting up and taking down tables, following directions, helping to set up for lunch, and loading to help with backhaul flights. May be required to work in areas where there is some noise.
