The Role
Description
Supports the definition, design, and development of continuously improving mobility services. Designs and executes test strategies while working closely with development teams. Supports test activities through the entire software development lifecycle, including case development, requirements analysis, test method development, automation, defect triage, and product launch support. Creates software for vehicle level functions and performs integration and verification testing with minimal direction of lead engineers. Analyzes software defects, determines root cause, creates software solutions, tests and verifies closure. Performs design and analysis on changes. Diagnoses, debugs, and solves issues related to vehicle hardware and software. Works with teams from multiple groups to meet project milestones. Creates software for vehicle level functions and performs integration and verification testing with minimal direction of lead engineers. Analyzes software defects. Figures out root causes, creates software solutions, and test and verifies closure. Diagnoses, debug, and solves issues related to vehicle hardware and software. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 Days In-Office, 2 Days Remote. Must be able to report to listed local office
Additional Description
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems and Technology, or related field, and two (2) years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester, Test Engineer, Software Engineer, or related role. Two (2) years of experience with: Developing and testing automotive software, including experience with test automation, and test and software architecture; Vehicle electrical architecture and subsystem features in the Infotainment domain; Infotainment operating systems, such as Android, Linux, and QNX; LIN/CAN vehicle communication system and CAN based monitoring tools; Testing infotainment software; Test experience with real-time or embedded applications; and Android and QNX operating systems.
