About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Tester with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team, focusing on testing infotainment systems, Android applications, and automation using Python.
What You Will Do
1. Infotainment System Testing: Test infotainment systems, including features like Bluetooth, navigation, and more.
2. Android Application Testing: Test Android applications, ensuring they meet quality and functionality standards.
3. Automation Testing: Develop and execute automated tests using Python.
4. Test Case Development: Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
5. Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, report, and track defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
What You Need to Be Successful
1. Technical Skills:
- Experience with testing infotainment systems and Android applications.
- Strong knowledge of Python programming language.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Pytest, Unittest).
- Understanding of Android testing, including ADB and Android Studio.
2. Testing Methodologies: Understanding of testing methodologies, including black box, white box, and gray box testing.
3. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points if You Have
1. Automation Testing Experience: Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
2. Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
3. CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
4. Knowledge of Infotainment System Architecture: Understanding of infotainment system architecture and its components.
