The Ubiquiti Prague office is looking for an experienced Android Developer.
This role requires working from our Prague office at least two days per week.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with a solid understanding of the Android SDK and application lifecycle
- Experience with Jetpack libraries, Coroutines and/or RxJava, and dependency injection
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and WebSocket communication
- Experience implementing pixel-perfect designs from Figma and collaborating closely with designers to deliver polished user experiences
- Solid understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, debugging, qand memory management
- Comfortable designing and shipping long-lived applications with maintainable architecture and high code quality
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills
- Fluency with modern AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc.). You use AI as real leverage in your day-to-day work.
- Fluent in English and Czech
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
- Experience building applications with real-time updates, connected devices, or IoT products
- Experience with multi-module Android projects
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
