About the role:

As a Senior Android Developer (m/f/d), you will take full ownership of our Android application, contributing to its design, architecture, and continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in shaping the app’s future while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Tech stack: Kotlin, Android SDK, Android architecture patterns, Android Jetpack components, Hilt, Dagger.

About your tasks:

• App Development & Architecture: Lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable Android applications, ensuring best practices in clean, maintainable code.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver seamless, user-centric experiences.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor other developers, providing technical leadership, conducting thorough code reviews, and ensuring adherence to high-quality coding standards.
• Documentation: Maintain high-quality documentation for new features, architecture decisions, and ongoing projects.
• Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Android development, driving innovation and improvements in the app.

About you:

• Extensive experience as an Android developer with a strong mastery of Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Proven ability to take ownership of complex projects and work independently to deliver high-quality results.
• Strong commitment to user-centered design and experience in delivering high-impact e-commerce solutions.
• Focus on shipping efficient, scalable solutions quickly without compromising quality.

Remote work policy:

Our offices are open, but you are free to work from home, from any location in Germany. It is entirely up to you if you want to pop into the office every now and again, or if you work from home all the time. At the same time, we value relationship between all members of the area and therefore we have regular team and area anchor days on which every team member is asked to come to the office.
