Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Cross-functional team collaboration to design, define and ship new features
- Translate requirements, designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Design, build, test and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
- Motivate, mentor and help fellow developers
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Required skill:
- 5+ years of experience in developing complex, large-scale Android applications
- BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent proficiency in Java, Kotlin , Android SDK and OOP concepts.
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
- Good understanding of Android basics, like memory management, thread management, networking etc.
- Hands-on knowledge of supporting multiple versions of Android, screen resolutions and device types
- Effective communication and soft skills
Preferred skills:
- Experience in working on Android TV frameworks.
- Experience of developing streaming applications (OTT)
- Experience of working with Jira & Git
- Interest and passion for AOSP architecture.
- Knowledge on Google ATV - Firmware Qualifications (GTS, CTS, VTS etc.) & Process.
- Knowledge on GOTA, firmware update and life cycles
