As an Analytics Solutions Associate within the Home Lending Consumer Finance MIS team, you will play a crucial role in the Consumer & Community Banking line of businesses. Your responsibilities will include acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, end users, and technology teams to implement enhancements and maintain our data and business intelligence platform. You will be involved in business analysis, ETL & reporting development, user acceptance & regression testing, root cause & impact analysis of issues, defect management & fix, and BAU support. Additionally, you will assist leadership in integrating and managing workload activities for the India based team, and coordinating timelines and feature deliverables with business and technology stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a member of the Home Lending Consumer Finance MIS team with responsibilities geared towards ensuring data & reporting platform availability, integrity, and completeness.
  • Partner with India and US based business stakeholders and product leadership to ensure data and reporting platform feature enhancement and issue resolution priorities meet business needs.
  • Assist in defining and documenting new requirements and training / mentoring new hires on subject matter knowledge.
  • Expand data and reporting platform scope through enrichment of data from new and existing data sources, development of analytical solutions that measure business performance and automation of manual BAU processes.
  • Collaborate with technology staff effectively to carry out agreed upon data and reporting platform changes on time and within SLA.
  • Understands the SDLC and quality assurance / quality control concepts, metrics, methodologies, and documentation standards.
  • Assure regulatory and policy compliance through a system of effective controls.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience preferably 2-3 years in financial analysis domain.
  • Top notch skills in advanced SQL and be very comfortable writing complex queries is a must
  • Significant business analysis experience involving requirements gathering with stakeholders and coordinating implementation efforts with IT staff for analytics / MIS solution build.
  • Should have performed user acceptance testing, root cause analysis on identified issues and defect resolution prioritization.
  • Excellent scripting skills in Python for building automation solutions. Exploratory data analysis and business analytics using Pyspark
  • Strong analytical, project & change management skills.
  • Must be a self-starter with fluent oral & written communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Should be good at collaboration with teams and in handling uncertainty and ambiguity.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree required; concentration in IT, CS, Finance or Business preferred.
  • BI / reporting skills preferably in Tableau or ThoughtSpot. Experience with migration of BI projects is an added advantage
  • AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, or other Cloud Data Warehouse experience
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, curious to learn new technologies
