About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Senior Manager for the Enterprise Complaints Remediation and Loudspeaker (ECRL) reporting team. This role will manage the Operational Reporting team supporting Complaints, Remediations, Redress, and Loudspeaker.
In this role, you will:
- Lead & develop the team (8-11) to deliver reliable daily operational reporting for ECRL (complaints, remediations, redress), meeting SLAs and control owner needs; coach on standards, code reviews, and version control discipline (Git).
- Own the reporting lifecycle: intake → prioritization → build → test → publish → monitor
- Safeguard governance & compliance: enforce information classification, retention, and access policies; ensure artifacts (procedures, test evidence) are audit-ready; partner on RCSA coverage and control alignment
- Steer platform transition work: manage dependencies, backlog, and exception approvals; communicate status & issue remediation to stakeholders; maintain continuity of critical daily/control reports.
- Establish entitlements & environments for SAS/Power BI/Tableau/ThoughtSpot: coordinate server/workspace setup, data gateways, row-level security, and viewer access; administer change control for report deployments.
- Drive modernization and migration: lead conversion timelines from Tableau to Power BI/ThoughtSpot; build training plans and rollout milestones; set standards for semantic models, naming, and documentation.
- Partner across ECRL: align with prioritization forums and product/delivery teams (Agile/Jira) to slot work, track features, and maintain control/reporting roadmaps; contribute to method updates.
- Measure what matters: define/report KPIs (on-time refresh, defect escape rate, SLA adherence, usage/adoption, cycle time) and lead continuous improvement.
- Champion talent development: build role-based learning paths (analyst, developer, viewer), run tool bootcamps, and mentor on analytics craftsmanship and risk awareness.
- Determine appropriate strategy to plan, coordinate, and execute data research projects or results oriented intelligence that support the business
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers to provide strategic consultation
- Ensure adherence to data management and data governance regulations, and policies and compliance requirements
- Determine appropriate strategy and actions of team to develop policies, approval or denial strategies, business line assignment methods, collections, and recovery strategies
- Interpret and develop compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives for external agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry forums
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives
- 6+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
- Proven success leading analytics/reporting team members (analysts, developers, contractors/offshore) in a high-velocity operations environment.
- Deep hands-on experience with SAS, Tableau (Server/Prep), Power BI (Desktop/Service/Gateway), ThoughtSpot, Git (branch protections, PR reviews), and Python for data wrangling/automation.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver daily operational reports and control reporting, aligning to enterprise methodologies and restatement practices (e.g., rolling windows, data sourcing, inclusion/exclusion rules).
- Strong grasp of data governance and information handling standards (e.g., Information Classification Matrix) and the ability to enforce them across reporting pipelines.
- Experience steering reporting through major platform transitions
- Comfort operating within risk and controls frameworks (RCSA, policy alignment, audit readiness) and partnering with control owners and compliance for evidence and testing.
- Track record establishing access/entitlements and environment provisioning
- Ability to drive tool adoption and migration plans
- Executive-ready communication: synthesizing complex issues for senior leaders and producing concise daily/month-end updates
