As an Analyst in our Managed Services division, your work will play a vital role in improving the content and service we offer to our clients. This opportunity will allow you to exercise your passion for finance and technology. You will learn to leverage your financial knowledge and analytical thinking to work with equity, fixed income and derivatives data sets, while dealing with cutting-edge and cloud-native technologies.
What you will be responsible for:
The Analyst will be joining a highly productive entrepreneurial team, itself part of a global organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with a strong academic background to contribute to the development, growth and enhancement of the expanding managed services side of SimCorp AxiomaRisk business.
• Gain an understanding of AxiomaRisk’s infrastructure, in particular about delivery mechanisms through which clients submit their positions (API, SFTP) and receive risk analytics.
• Work on complex data sets related to portfolio positions and OTC derivatives, such as FX Forwards and Interest Rate Swaps
• Ensure reconciliations are successfully completed and troubleshoot any discrepancies within set deadlines (in accordance with client SLA’s).
• Ability to evaluate systems, procedures, workflows and introduce recommendations for improvements and further automation
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders throughout SimCorp as well as external clients.
• Manipulate large amount of financial data and use various tools to present and analyze results
• Perform quality assurance tasks and data analysis to ensure validity of content delivered to AxiomaRisk’s clients
• Assist the Sales and Client Support teams in resolving data inquiries
• Interact with many areas of the firm to improve processes, and minimize operational risks
What we value:
• Preferred 2-4 years prior experience in similar field with Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Engineering from an accredited institution
• Strong quantitative problem-solving and analytical skills, detail oriented
• Good understanding of equity markets fixed income, equity and derivative instruments
• Knowledge of Risk Analytics and Derivatives Pricing would be advantageous
• Experience with SQL, Python or other object-oriented programming language (VBA, UNIX/LINUX a plus
• Proficient in writing and speaking English
• Ability to multi-task and manage cross-departmental projects
• Ability to work on a global team spread across multiple locations and time zones
• Focus on continuous improvement and process innovation

• Availability to work Early shift schedule
• Willingness to work on India public holidays on rotation basis.
