Role Summary and Impact

As an Analytics Manager within the Data & Intelligence team, you will be a pivotal individual contributor, driving the strategic direction and execution of our analytics capabilities. This high impact role requires you to lead by example, championing advanced analytical initiatives and establishing best practices across the organisation. You will act as a key analytical authority and strategic advisor, collaborating closely with the wider Investment team and stakeholders across the group. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining the vision for our analytical outputs and fostering a culture of data excellence.

This role is critical for transforming raw data into strategic intelligence, delivering quantifiable insights and driving data informed engagement that directly contributes to our business commitments. Your contributions will elevate our analytical maturity, optimise investment performance, and empower strategic decision making throughout the group.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the extraction of actionable insights from complex datasets, leveraging advanced analytical techniques to inform strategic recommendations that optimise investment performance and business growth.
  • Partner with a wide variety of stakeholders to champion and integrate analytics initiatives across the organisation, ensuring broad adoption and value realisation. This includes effectively communicating complex analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders, providing robust data analysis for effective decision making.
  • Utilise comprehensive market intelligence, industry benchmarks, and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, assess market positioning, and inform strategic initiatives that enhance competitive advantage.
  • Apply sophisticated analytics techniques, including data science and machine learning, to solve complex, real world business challenges and develop robust analytical solutions.
  • Define and promote best practices in data analysis, interpretation, and presentation, contributing to a culture of data excellence and continuous improvement within the Intelligence team and across the organisation.

Skills and Experience

  • Deep understanding of the media delivery landscape, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities, with the ability to translate industry knowledge into actionable analytics strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex analytical findings and strategic recommendations clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a track record of solving complex business problems and driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while maintaining a focus on strategic goals.
  • Strong leadership and ownership mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, driving initiatives, and fostering a culture of accountability within the team.
  • A growth mindset, demonstrating intellectual curiosity, a commitment to continuous learning, and a passion for leveraging data to deliver significant business value.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a leader and contributor across cross-functional teams, driving consensus and successful project outcomes.
  • Preferred: Extensive experience with data science and machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, predictive modelling, NLP), including model development, validation, deployment, and interpretation of results for business application.
