The Role
As the Analytics & Intelligence - Lead Analyst specializing in Healthcare Forecasting, you will play a crucial role in delivering advanced analytics, forecasting solutions, and actionable insights that shape Roche’s global strategic initiatives. Collaborating with stakeholders across the Digital, Data & Advanced Analytics team in the US, Therapy Areas Insights Directors, and global partners, you will contribute to high-impact projects that support commercial operations and patient-centric objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute advanced analytics projects in areas like Forecasting, Brand Performance, Patient Journeys, Product Launch Support, and ROI evaluation.
- Develop and maintain data-driven forecasting models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Partner with global Therapy Area forecasting teams to support data-backed decision-making.
- Act as a thought leader, guiding stakeholders and delivering impactful insights and recommendations.
- Communicate findings through compelling presentations that support business decisions.
- Mentor and upskill junior team members, fostering expertise in analytics and Pharma forecasting.
- Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and GATE partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology or related fields (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Statistics), with 4–8 years of experience in forecasting/data analytics, including 4–5 years in Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare domains.
- Proficiency in Pharma Forecasting methodologies, Excel, SQL, and programming languages like Python, R, or SAS.
- Familiarity with secondary data sources (e.g., IQVIA, LAAD Claims) and therapeutic areas like oncology, neurology, or immunology.
- Skilled in effectively communicating insights to stakeholders and crafting concise business narratives.
- Experience with tools like Dataiku DSS and AI/ML frameworks (preferred).
- International travel readiness and possession of a valid U.S. B1/B2 visa (preferred).
