As an Analytics & Intelligence - Lead Analyst (Integrated Insights Lead), you will partner with the Global Pharma Strategy - Ecosystem Insights team in shaping Roche's Pharma strategy through market and customer-centric insights. This role functions as an internal consultant and strategist, partnering with commercial and cross-functional leaders to integrate data and activate insights-driven problem solving with foresight. The iIL will provide strategic thought leadership in a specific Disease Area (DA) or other assigned business area, acting as the global insights and forecasting thought partner to senior leaders across GPS, Product Development, and Research and Development.
The Opportunity
Influence Strategy: Drive and influence global disease area, individual asset, and commercialization strategies by integrating and analyzing complex market dynamics, customer needs, and the competitive landscape
Generate Insights: Lead customer and market-centric insights, embedding the voice of the customer (patients, healthcare professionals, and other key partners) in all strategies
Provide Financial & Performance Analysis: Deliver market valuations, product/portfolio forecasts, periodic situation analysis to inform portfolio performance and evolution, and performance tracking
Manage Data Integration & Analysis: Integrate data across multiple sources (primary/secondary research, CRM, epi data, real-world evidence, etc.) to understand and predict market evolution, customer attitudes, needs, behaviors, and perceptions
Lead Project Execution: Effectively plan, organize, and oversee insights and analytics projects from inception to completion, ensuring they address business questions and are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams such as R&D, Product Development, and Medical Affairs, and with critical must-win markets, ensuring accountability across all partners
Manage Agency Partners: Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with premier external insights agency partners specializing in areas like customer insights, demand estimation, positioning, and performance tracking, utilizing innovative tools including AI
Who You Are
Education & Experience: You possess a Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience in primary market research in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, including analyzing insights from secondary sources. A Master’s Degree or PhD is a preferred skill
Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in epidemiology-based forecasting, market valuations, and insights generation methodologies in primary and secondary market research, as well as experience with CRM analytics and real-world evidence
Strategic Problem Solver: Excellent strategic problem solver with a passion for customer insights, market dynamics, and innovation, translating complex market and customer data into clear, actionable insights
Impactful Storyteller: Strong analytical and storytelling skills, developing forward-looking strategies that anticipate market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
Collaboration & Influence: Experience supporting R&D strategy and/or commercialization strategy, with demonstrated experience in working with senior leaders and influencing without authority, forming strong partnerships across function and geographies
Earlier experience on Infectious Diseases therapy area is an added advantage
