POSITION SUMMARY:

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the web analytics and tagging implementations for all key web properties owned and operated by F5, Inc. This will include working with teams throughout the company to ensure end-to-end visibility and tracking for campaigns and customer journey evaluation. This person will also be involved in building out experiments and personalization's using Adobe Target for CRO and personalization program efforts. This role requires someone equally comfortable speaking about and working with data to communicate marketing efficacy, and customer experience as they are in the technical weeds developing the tools that inform those conversations.

This person will work alongside side developers to extend, document, and evolve the analytics implementation and foundation of all web properties. They will also build and maintain documentation, ensure regular troubleshooting/QA of implementations, consult with teams to build new tracking mechanisms, sharing data and helping others understand how it's collected and what it means. They will work with colleagues to ensure they have the data they need, but also understand how to interpret it. They will work with the Testing program manager to execute high-performing experiments and personalization for f5.com using Adobe Target.

This position is based in Seattle (remote possible) and reports to the Senior Manager, Digital Intelligence and Optimization

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own and Manage Analytics data governance and compliance and analytics/measurement strategy:

  • Support strong data governance i.e. maintaining data quality, user management and other data governance initiatives supported by the team, aligned with overall digital properties governance.
  • Develop analytics requirements, document, and assist with QA of analytics and tag implementation within a variety of platforms and environments
  • Solicit stakeholder objectives and goals, translating those into technical requirements for the systems/tools enabling greater insight development and marketing efficacy
  • Distill analytics and tag management requirements from business strategy and go-to-market documentation
  • Maintaining compliance of all web data collection efforts with regulations like GDPR, CCPA, etc.

Own and Manage Analytics implementation:

  • Develop and maintain data structure customized for individual properties and use-cases, yet scalable and consistent enough to enhance full-journey measurement across the ecosystem
  • Own evolution of implementation to support innovative measurement capabilities, campaign performance visibility, and optimization of digital customer experience

Own and Manage Tealium Implementation:

  • Enable Tealium development and customization across the F5 ecosystem of sites
  • Work with developers to build out the data-layer necessary on property to support required measurement
  • Manage tag request queue and work with campaigns team to streamline tag implementation for performance and system hygiene
  • Build and maintain user access and governance to enable sites yet protect and enforce standards
  • Write Javascript code in Tealium to solve tracking issues.
  • Deploy JavaScript/Extensions-based consent management solutions within Tealium for compliance with privacy regulations and user preferences.

Support Testing through Target experience development:

  • Working with the Testing program manager, build experiences in Adobe Target using Javascript, CSS, html as needed to support site experience and performance goals
  • Work to optimize performance of the site under the impact of Adobe Target (or similar: Monetate, Optimizely, etc.), Adobe Analytics and Tealium

Required Skills Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years working in technical analytics roles
  • Basic understanding of marketing pixels (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Expert level knowledge of Adobe Analytics, tag management tools (Tealium (primary), GTM, Launch), including processing rules, account set up and architecture
  • Excellent working knowledge of JavaScript, browser technology, cookie behavior
  • Experience and familiarity with Tealium Event Stream nice to have
  • Experience utilizing Adobe Analytics Workspace for report and dashboard configuration
  • Experience building experiences in Adobe Target for personalization and testing
  • Experience architecting a data layer and models, collaborating with development team on implementation
  • Experience debugging Adobe Analytics utilizing browser network calls, extensions, and tools
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager a plus
  • Solid communication skills, including driving impact, change, and influence across teams
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; engaged listening, and presentation skills.
  • Relentlessly results driven: continuously looking to iterate, improve, and optimize performance.
  • Understanding of digital marketing activities such as SEM, SEO, remarketing/retention, targeted display, etc.
  • Understanding of full-funnel marketing metrics, web analytics, testing and optimization, and multi-channel / multi-touch attribution.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and independently with a positive attitude.
  • Effective collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Takes accountability and ownership of their own work.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
  • Duties may require some travel to trade events and business planning meetings.

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $107,502.00 - $161,252.00

The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
