Let's start with the role
As an Analytics Engineer at Kaizen Gaming, you’ll be at the heart of our data-driven initiatives, working on the silver and gold layers of our medallion architecture. Your role is integral to enhancing our four core elements: discoverability, security, quality, and data observability.
As an Analytics Engineer, you will:
- Support stakeholders by applying reporting and analysis processes to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial reports.
- Enhance reporting and analysis processes by automating workflows or simplifying self-service modeling for stakeholders.
- Translate complex business and functional requirements into scalable, operational solutions that meet our high standards.
- Adopt best practices in data modeling, ensuring data integrity, creating resilient test designs, and developing comprehensive documentation.
- Develop and oversee efficient data transformation pipelines, utilizing ETL/ELT processes.
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in writing complex SQL code for data manipulation and reporting.
- 3+ years of experience in ETL/ELT and Reporting tools.
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with high attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience in financial reporting and reconciliation is a plus.
- Familiarity with data modeling and data warehouse architecture is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure services and Databricks is a plus.
