- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and ensure data solutions meet analytical needs.
- Build and maintain data architecture in Snowflake, ensuring accurate that datasets are accurate and usable
- Serve as a key liaison between business units and the data team, translating business questions into technical data solutions.
- Monitor data quality and implement testing frameworks to ensure the integrity of analytical outputs.
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, metrics definitions, and workflows.
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Proven experience in a technical analytics role
- Very good knowledge of SQL and proven experience with Python
- Hands-on experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
- Proficiency with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse platform.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Experience working with large and messy datasets
- You enjoy collaborating with other engineers and analysts
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders independently, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and communicate findings clearly.
- You will always be thinking about new ways you can better solve problems using data
- You have great communication skills both written and verbal.
- You embrace the YouGov values
It would be great if you had these to, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
- Experience with a workflow management system such as Airflow
- Experience with RDBMS, NoSQL and graph database technologies
- Familiarity with data reporting software (Power BI, Tableau, Apache Superset)
