  • Implement analytics tracking and telemetry: Instrument customer portals and internal tools with analytics tracking, monitoring, and usage telemetry.
  • Create data-driven product features: Enable usage insights, performance reports, and predictive components that are integrated into web products and internal applications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and BI partners: Partner with Web Developers, Infrastructure Engineers, and BI teams to ensure reliable data access, validated reporting, and consistent metric definitions.
  • Support stakeholders and KPI delivery: Work with Product, Operations, and Customer Success to understand KPIs and deliver analytics that enable better decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security: Apply company standards for accuracy, access control, and compliance; perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting to maintain reliable outputs.
  • Continuously improve analytics tooling and processes: Recommend and implement enhancements to reporting processes, analytics tools, dashboards, and data instrumentation; stay current with visualization frameworks and best practices.
  • Document solutions and enable users: Create and maintain documentation for datasets, dashboards, and integrated analytics features; provide guidance to analysts and business users on correct usage.
  • Coordinate delivery across teams: Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams; clarify requirements, prioritize analytics work, and communicate tradeoffs and timelines.
  • Support monitoring and operational reporting: Help implement and maintain monitoring dashboards and reporting that improve visibility into availability, performance, and service delivery.

Success Metrics & KPIs

  • Reliable data delivery: Pipelines and integrations meet availability and freshness expectations; reduced failures and faster recovery from incidents.
  • Actionable dashboards and adoption: Dashboards are used by Operations and business stakeholders; insights drive measurable improvements in planning and service performance.
  • Data quality and accuracy: Reduced discrepancy rates and rework; clear validation and testing practices result in trusted reporting outputs.
  • Successful web-integrated analytics: Telemetry and usage analytics are consistently implemented across portals/tools; stakeholders can measure feature usage and customer experience.
  • Continuous improvement delivery: Regular enhancements to instrumentation, reporting, and performance; reduced time-to-insight for new questions and KPIs.
