We’re looking for a skilled and collaborative Analytics Engineer to join our data team. In this role, you’ll focus on building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and well-documented data models using dbt, orchestrating workflows with Airflow, and leveraging Snowflake as our primary data warehouse.
You’ll partner closely with data engineers, BI analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data pipelines, business processes, and analytical needs—translating them into clean, trusted models that empower data-driven decisions across the company.
What you’ll doData modeling & transformation
Design, build, and maintain modular, production-ready dbt models that serve as the foundation for BI and analytics use cases.
Implement and enforce best practices for naming conventions, testing, documentation, and version control in dbt.
Optimize transformations for performance and scalability in Snowflake.
Orchestration & workflow management
Use Airflow to schedule, monitor, and orchestrate dbt runs and other data workflows.
Collaborate with data engineering to ensure seamless integration between ingestion pipelines and modeling layers.
Data quality & testing
Develop robust data tests within dbt to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across models.
Partner with data engineers to identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring high-trust datasets for downstream users.
Cross-functional collaboration
Work closely with BI and analytics teams to understand reporting requirements and design models that align with business logic and key metrics.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify data definitions, metric calculations, and ensure models meet analytical needs.
Communicate findings and technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Continuous improvement
Contribute to the evolution of our data architecture, focusing on reusability, maintainability, and automation.
Stay current with best practices in analytics engineering, dbt, and Snowflake performance optimization.
Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or BI Engineer with a focus on data modeling and transformation.
Strong proficiency with dbt (core or Cloud), including model design, testing, and documentation.
Hands-on experience with Airflow (or a similar orchestration tool) for scheduling and dependency management.
Deep understanding of SQL and Snowflake architecture, including query optimization and warehouse performance tuning.
Solid grasp of data warehousing concepts, data quality management, and modeling best practices (e.g., star/snowflake schemas).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills—able to bridge technical work with business needs.
Experience supporting BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and understanding how data models power dashboards.
Familiarity with Git-based workflows for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to ad tech or marketing data ecosystems (e.g., Google Ad Manager).
Experience working in fast-paced, data-driven environments where data sources evolve rapidly.
