Job DescriptionWhy This Role Is Critical
The Analyst will form part of the Data Insights and Attributes team, which is responsible for delivering insights derived from client, credit bureau, and alternative data sources. This includes industry benchmark reports, Application Decision Outcome (ADO) reports, bureau and bespoke attribute development, attribute monitoring, and custom analytics solutions.
The Analyst will support the delivery of priority projects and business initiatives, working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
What You'll Bring to the Team
Technical and Industry Expertise
Strong knowledge of the credit industry and credit lifecycle.
Proven experience with Python. Experience with SAS, SQL, and GitHub will be advantageous.
Experience in building reports and dashboards (e.g. Power BI)
Experience in data analysis, data quality management, and attribute development.
Understanding of attribute monitoring and performance tracking.
Experience working with consumer and business bureau data is preferred.
Knowledge of databases, data warehousing, ETL processes, big data frameworks, cloud platforms, and machine learning concepts will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
Analytics and Data Solutions
Execute and deliver data analytics projects aligned with business objectives.
Develop, maintain, and enhance bureau and bespoke client attributes.
Extract, transform, validate, and analyse data from multiple sources.
Deliver custom analytical solutions for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Analyse benchmark reports and monitoring packs to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
Process Improvement and Quality Assurance
Review and optimise existing data processes to improve efficiency and quality.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures for analytics solutions and attribute development.
Reduce error rates and rework through effective validation and testing processes.
Ensure all outputs meet required quality and business standards.
Project Delivery
Plan, organise, and manage workload to meet project deadlines.
Supervise and support junior analysts where required.
Identify project risks early and implement mitigation actions.
Maintain accurate project time recording and timesheet management.
Documentation and Knowledge Management
Ensure all processes, methodologies, and products are appropriately documented.
Create and maintain documentation to support business continuity and operational resilience.
Keep documentation up to date and accessible to both internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder and Client Support
Support the sales team with client queries relating to analytics solutions.
Assist with proposals, sales materials, tenders, and client presentations.
Participate in client meetings to support pre-sales and post-sales discussions.
Identify opportunities for analytics-driven revenue generation and communicate these to management.
Team Development and Collaboration
Support junior team members in both technical and analytical disciplines if required.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and skills development within the team.
Participate in sales enablement activities for new analytics products and solutions if required.
Professional Development
Stay abreast of industry developments, market trends, legislation, and regulations relevant to Experian's analytical solutions.
Maintain and action an agreed personal development plan in consultation with the line manager.
