Job Description Summary:

Reports to Regulatory & Population Health Manager of Analytics, responsible for leading and directing the processes within a defined area in IT Population Health & Regulatory Analytics.
Knowledge and Skills with Data and Analytics platforms and technologies such as BI Reporting, Data Visualization, Population Health & Regulatory Analytics, Epic Reporting. Knowledge working with a Clinically Integrated Network, MIPS, HEDIS, ACO, or other Medicare Program.
This means that this leader has deep experience and understanding in how these technologies and capabilities can be utilized to solve complex problems, enable strategic priorities, and is viewed as the though leader in the organization.  Often presenting at industry conferences and training seminars, serving as a point person for 3rd party partnerships.
Role may also be responsible for the management of outcomes delivered by third-party supplier vendors and for interacting with and owning the relationship with the internal customers within the business units and service lines at OhioHealth.
Manages the daily operational activities that develop and implement tactical plans for multiple components/processes for a specified area within IT.

Responsibilities And Duties:

Deliver analytics projects and products in line with the Data & Analytics Strategy, in support of the organization’s goals, with a strong focus on the end user and their needs.
Support in the development of processes and skills within the Analytics team and community by contributing with knowledge, curiosity, and mindset of continuous improvement.
Partner with a team of data analysts, data engineers and others with a mix of broad and specialized skills enabling the organization to have access to analytics with the best balance of speed, depth, and refinement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), leveraging industry standards where possible and adapting where needed.
Work to become a trusted partner who actively seeks to understand the business in order to anticipate needs and drive innovation in analytics.
Support the growth of data and analytics knowledge of their partners to lift the organization’s capability to use data to improve outcomes.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analytics efforts, with a focus on continuous improvement of our data estate working together with Data Governance and Data Engineering.
Support cost and operational efficiency by maximizing the value of in-built capabilities in critical, widespread systems like Epic and Workday.
As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Years of Experience: 7+ years demonstrated, progressive leadership and/or IT experience
  • Epic Healthy Planet Clinical Build Certification/Accreditation or EpicCare Ambulatory Clinical Build Certification/Accreditation
  • Proficient in SQL

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge and Skills with Data and Analytics platforms and technologies such as BI Reporting, Data Science tools, Data Engineering, Dev/Ops Cloud engineering, Data Visualization, Master Data Management, Data Governance and Compliance.
