This is a hybrid role based in Ghana
- Track how users interact with the platform (likes, shares, comments, retention, session duration).
- Identify patterns in user growth, churn, and engagement.
- Measure which content types (videos, images, text) perform best.
- Provide insights to creators, marketers, and product teams.
- A/B test new features (e.g., recommendation algorithms, UI changes).
- Provide data to improve platform speed, UX, and engagement features.
- Track ROI on ad campaigns and influencer partnerships.
- Provide insights into ad performance, audience targeting, and conversion rates.
- Work with the CFO to forecast revenue from ads, subscriptions, and partnerships.
- Monitor pricing strategies and optimize monetization models.
- Detect fraudulent activities, fake accounts, and content violations.
- Support the CLO in monitoring regulatory compliance (data privacy & content laws).
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong background in statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics).
- Experience in data visualization and dashboard reporting.
- Knowledge of social media metrics (engagement rate, churn, CTR, CPC, CPM, retention).
- Business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI (for advanced data science roles).
