Job DescriptionCandidate will work on developing, maintaining, and extending the marketing analytics platform comprising of multiple modules such as multi-channel marketing effectiveness, sales force effectiveness, media mix analysis, customer segmentation, and others.
Proficiency in Python is a must, familiarity with R is highly desirable, and experience in working on IT application development projects is a plus. Good understanding of statistical and machine-learning methods and familiarity with marketing concepts is also desirable.
Qualifications / Requirements
• 1-3 years of experience as Data Scientist, Modeler or Programmer (Python only), Data Analyst, Statistical Analyst, etc.• Hands-on experience in Python programming. Some experience in R would be a plus• BE / BTech / MCA / Postgraduate in Statistics or Mathematics or Physics or Economics or Data Science• Experience in building statistical and machine learning models is a plus• Experience in developing IT applications is a plus Functions and Responsibilities• Work closely with the Product Lead to develop the data science layer of the marketing analytics platform• Help maintain and extend existing modules of the platform after taking knowledge transfer• Fix issues/bugs in code, implement major and minor enhancements based on UAT and feedback from client teams• Understand underlying concepts (business, statistical, machine learning) in order to implement them• Envision and implement new enhancements to the platform that will make the user experience more intuitive and/or make the platform faster and/or add more business• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude, ability to independently come up with new ideas• Good communication skills• Excellent team player
