The Florida Land team is a data-driven Land Brokerage Team. This role will be responsible for the research function for the Florida Land Team and identify solutions with data.Job Description
Responsible for one or more of the following:
- Track Land Sales for:
- Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa MSAs
- Update report spreadsheet and present to broader team weekly
- Harvest, catalog and post public site plans to team map portal project descriptions to Land from Public Records such as minutes from Development Review Committee (DRC) meetings and other public sources.
- Compile and distribute research in the form of narratives, graphics, data summaries, etc. for internal team and external (Clients, Press) clients
- Analyze market statistics, generate market reports and/or collateral material based on statistical analysis conducted
- Develop and maintain a proprietary commercial real estate database ensuring consistently accurate and current data
- Establish development pipeline
- Respond to data requests
Research material facts about various properties:
- Land use
- Zoning
- Desktop Wetland Analysis
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree; Industry related field of study preferred
- Experience in data entry/data management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong data software applications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives
- Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective listening and critical thinking skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
- Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
- Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
- Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
- Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays
