Analyst, Commercial Strategy & InsightsLocation: London, UK (Hybrid)Job SummaryThe Commercial Strategy & Insights team principally supports our clients in three main capability areas:
• Commercial Consulting
• Profiling, Segmentation and Targeting
• Longitudinal Patient and Prescription Tracking
Analysts within Commercial Strategy & Insights play a key role in delivering excellent analytical and advisory projects with our clients. They are responsible for owning and delivering work independently, taking accountability to ensure deliverables are of the highest quality, and that deadlines are met. Depending on the nature of the project, this may involve taking a lead for a given analysis or contributing as part of a large team within a wider program.
Key accountabilities include:• Working closely with our clients on a daily basis to understand challenges, requirements, and business issues
• Performing quantitative and qualitative analyses to aid the development of recommendations; exercise informed business judgement in identifying the correct approach to client issues
• Contributing to the preparation, execution and follow up of client meetings and workshops
• Conducting independent desk research and primary research to specific briefs using internal and external sources
• Taking responsibility for creating sections of reports, presentations and other client deliverables (with guidance and supervision)
• Acquiring deep knowledge of IQVIA’s data sources and how these can be applied to address our client’s commercial challenges
• Broadening knowledge of consulting methodologies and the health and life sciences industries through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities.
Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 honours degree from a top-tier university in any numerate discipline, plus A-level mathematics
  • Some experience of working in a professional client facing environment, ideally within a consulting or life sciences environment
  • Demonstrated interest in health and life sciences industry sector, and willingness to build deep industry skill.
  • Strong analytical skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal skills for influencing and advising.
  • Able to explain complex concepts and frameworks and place these in appropriate client situations and context.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) to a strong business standard.
