Analyst, Treasury (Back Office)

Job Summary:

As the Analyst, Treasury, you will be responsible for the settlement of Treasury trades, support of In House Cash (IHC) and Accounts Payable (AP) payments, and covers accurate and complete bank statement reporting in SAP. The role supports the Front Office team on their cash management and liquidity activities for all countries supported by the Shared Service Centre (SSC). The role ensures and monitors that Treasury transactions are compliant with internal policy and local/government regulation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Executes timely and accurate settlement and payment of Treasury trades, performs review of trades across the trade life cycle (confirmation, settlement, maturity)

• Ensures prompt settlement of all trade-related payments; coordinates with relevant parties (Corporate Treasury, IHC, external banks) regarding payment instructions related to maturing trades

• Processes Treasury payments and manual Accounts Payable (AP) payments, and provides support to In House Cash (IHC) process

• Executes repetitive codes for Treasury payments via Straight Thru Processing

• Monitors accurate and complete bank statement reporting in SAP and ensures resolution for any errors or issues are timely resolved

• Ensures accurate and complete loading of daily bank statements; checks accuracy by comparing actual ending balances with ledger balances reflected in bank statements; escalates to BPT recurring issues for resolution

• Ensures pre- and post-month end accounting checks are performed, including execution of Alert Monitoring to ensure trade settlement is completed

• Ensures list of authorized signers and traders are updated with the banks

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree business, economics, management, or any related course

• At least 2-year experience in similar roles Back Office, Treasury Operations and Settlements

• Experience in treasury SAP function

• Experience working in treasury function within Shared Service Centre (SSC)

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• Certified Treasury Professional

• SAP experience

• Exposure in managing multiple markets

• Exposure to Internal Controls

Job Requirements:

• Full-time employment

• Work Hours: 8:00AM or 9:00AM to 5:00PM or 6:00PM (Mondays to Fridays)

• Overtime might be required depending on the critical deliverables

• Early morning or late night call with Corporate Treasury will be required from time to time

• This role is not eligible for relocation
