AlphaGrep is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing in-house trading applications that are robust, highly efficient, and optimized for high-performance trading environments. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to execute trading strategies swiftly and effectively across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test proprietary software, including:
- Trading strategy simulation software optimized for distributed computation.
- Large-scale data acquisition, storage, accessibility, and visualization systems.
- Real-time trade management and risk analysis tools.
- Identify innovative solutions to complex technical challenges and advocate for their implementation by clearly and concisely communicating your ideas to the team.
- Work closely with other software developers, quantitative traders, and researchers in cross-functional team environments to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Continuously explore and integrate new technologies to enhance the performance and capabilities of our trading systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree from a top-tier institute, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong software development experience, preferably in C++.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Exposure to network programming (TCP/IP), multi-threaded applications, computational intelligence, and real-time programming.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
- Brilliant problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovative technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Interest in Financial Markets:While financial experience is not required, an interest in trading systems and financial markets is a plus.
