Position: Analyst, Trade Finance Operations
Reporting to: COO

Overview
Responsible for the day-to-day processing requirements of the function Performs various structured routine operational tasks in a standard work environment. Handles medium complex processes. Understands the mission and vision of the company and how the department contributes to that. Works under supervision; receives instruction, guidance and direction from a senior team member. Acts in line with ING rules and policies.
Responsibilities
As an Analyst, your tasks and responsibilities will principally be:
• Day-to-day Processing related to Trade Finance (Documentary and non-documentary): Letter of Credit or Documentary Collection
- Guarantee/Standby Letter of Credit
- Export and Import bills
- Import Loans
- Open Account (OA trade)
• Loans and remittance
• Handles Local Application /Local Settlements/Client in Local language from end to end.
• Liaising and Handles with offshore hub operations as well as Front Office, Client and all other relevant parties and ensure smooth processing of transactions
• Preparation of regular and ad hoc basis local regulatory reporting requirements
• Ensure that the Bank’s and relevant regulatory procedures and controls are adhered to
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time
• Understand roles, authorities, responsibilities and obligations of compliance and conduct their business accordingly
• Adhere to Service Level Agreements(SLAs) and manager customer requirements
Person Specifications
To be considered for this role, the applicant would ideally possess the following pre-requisites:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Trade Finance, Loans, or Guarantee Operations within Wholesale Banking.
- Fluent in English and Korean, both written and verbal.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across various departments and levels.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and actively participate in team and organizational activities.
- Open-minded, adaptable, and eager to take on new challenges.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Able to provide positive and constructive feedback to team members on an ongoing basis.
- Strong team player with a proactive and collaborative attitude.
