The System Admin Analyst (SAP Basis Tech Analyst) will report to the System Administration SAP Technical and and will be responsible for managing and supporting the company's SAP and B2B system landscape. This role includes technical responsibilities for systems hosted on-premises, with partners, and in cloud environments such as Azure or other hyperscalers, as well as ensuring SAP security.
The System Admin Analyst will work closely with the global ISOL (Industrial Solution) Team and the Manager to ensure the smooth operation and security of the SAP and B2B/EDI systems. This position requires a proactive approach to system management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to maintain optimal performance and compliance with security standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate with the ISOL Team Analyst and Manager to develop and implement SAP/B2B and global system strategies and solutions.
Ensure the integration and proper functioning of ISOL systems within the MAGNA environment in collaboration with the Hosting Provider.
Strong focus at SAP Basis Support
Work with our external Hosting Providers together to ensure well performing, secure, up-to-date and cost-effective SAP Systems
Work with the Magna internal Microsoft Azure and OS team together to get smaller SAP installations like ADS, SAP Cloud Connector installed
Running SAP Archiving Tasks and setup SAP Archiving for HANA an non HANA SAP
Setup run an monitor SAP HANA Data aging
Technical Administration task, Printer, Interfaces, system performance.
Analyzing EWA Reports for SAP.
Technical Ticket Support.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and disruptions in the ISOL environment. Escalation handling for ISOL System including hosting platform (Azure)
Monitor and analyze security incidents, conduct audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with IT teams and external partners to ensure compliance with security standards.
Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants for security-related projects and services.
Stay up to date with the latest developments and trends in ISLO Landscape, Azure, and SAP, B2B security.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.
Compliance with ISAE 3402 requirements for SAP systems.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
Relevant IT education or studies in Computer Sciences / Business Informatics or other comparable education
SAP Certification
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and supporting SAP systems, with a focus on datacentre activities
Requirements
Strong knowledge of SAP basis, including system installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
High know for SAP Archiving Know How, SAP HANA Data Aging
Experience in performing and coordinating SAP pagrades, patches, and other maintenance activities in SAP environment.
Familiarity with Azure cloud platform
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Strong sense of responsibility.
Be a team player: Document your knowledge and share it with others, help train the less experienced colleagues in our team
A solid foundational knowledge of IT and network engineering is essential.
SAP-BTP Knowledge
Experience in performing upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities in SAP B2B systems.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
