BlackRock Fund Management Company will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of BlackRock (subject to regulatory approvals), incorporated in Shanghai PRC. We envisioned to pursue our globally-aligned purpose in China through publicly-offered securities investment fund management, direct distribution of funds, specific customer asset management and other businesses approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission. About this role:
We are looking for a professional to join the Operations team to support the daily operations and business growth.
This role is part of the operation team which is responsible for TA/FA oversight, NAV reporting and EOD reconciliation, product life cycle management, as well as operation projects that enable business growth, drive efficiency and enhance controls. The individual will have opportunities to work on cross-functional projects, join learning & development sessions as well as to get individual buddy/mentor to support personal development in our company.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with internal and external groups; including but not limited to, Product, Client Businesses, Legal& Compliance, Technology and Outsourcing Service Provider.
Responsible for TA/FA oversight and Outsourcing Service Provider management.
Responsible for TA/FA daily operations and related operating matters, ensuring adequate resources and periodic reporting progress to management/key partners.
Seek service and operational improvements wherever possible, collaborate with business partners to innovate and develop effective solutions, expand and better our service capabilities.
Requirements:
2+ years solid operations experience in asset management industry, ideally AMAC fund practitioner qualification and fund industry TA/FA experience preferred.
Capable of working independently and demonstrate a proactive and risk-focused approach to work, understanding the importance of identifying and reporting issues appropriately.
Strong teamwork and collaborative experience, and preferably with experience of managing vendors and service providers.
Good communication skill and can speak well in Chinese and English.
Tech skills and knowledge of MRF and QDII funds would be a plus.
