Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, revise, and release purchase orders based on supplier capabilities and organizational requirements.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, spend reports, and procurement KPI metrics
- Monitor inventory levels and purchasing patterns to support demand planning
- Conduct variance analysis between forecasted and actual spending
- Support supplier negotiations with analytical insights and cost models
- Assist in supplier risk assessments
- Assist in preparing presentations and business cases for leadership review
- Provide ongoing support for procurement and delivery demands, ensuring timely execution.
- Continuos review meetings with top/bottom vendors and proactive collaboration for problem solving.
- Monitor critical parts to ensure zero line stoppages and uninterrupted production.
- Strong focus on cost savings and kaizens.
- Procurement activities like Minimizes risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures.
- Adhere to the purchasing policy, process, guidelines, any associated documents and take ownership for timely receiving supplies.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and recommend improvement actions
- Standardize and enhance procurement reporting and analytics processes
- Support implementation and optimization of ERP/procurement tools
- Partner with cross-functional teams (finance, logistics, production, operations, etc.)
- Track and follow up with vendor for timely delivery of material.
- Good knowledge of material and inventory planning
- Good excel knowledge.
- Mentor junior analysts or purchasing executives as required
