About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Analyst to join their Syndicate Desk team within the Structured Products Group (SPG). The SPG Syndicate desk is responsible for managing the process of arranging new issue transactions across ABS, CMBS, CLO and RMBS products.
In this role, you will:
- Support senior members of the syndicate team through active involvement in all aspects of the deal marketing and execution process
- Closely partner with various constituencies across Wells Fargo, including Sales, Banking, Trading and Compliance
- Closely partner with corresponding syndicate personnel at other broker dealers in conjunction with the marketing of new issue transactions
- Regularly track market data and publish commentary
- 6+ months of Securities Trading-Program experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Prior experience in or related to securitization is a plus
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry
- Proven ability to take on significant responsibility with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
- Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused, and collaborative team environment
- Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
- Product knowledge, technical expertise, transaction execution and negotiation skills
- A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field
- Ability to travel as needed

- Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
- Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
- Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
- This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
