The primary objective of this role is the integration of existing business processes into the BTSSC operations,
creating value through standardization and optimization of business processes performance and improved
decision support in compliance with business policy and regulatory requirements. The position will be
responsible for recommending and implementing technology-based business solutions of the ERP and FP&A
applications in partnership with SSC Finance and IT departments. The position provides process
improvement, analytical and reporting services in support of business daily operations and periodic initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesCross-Train on existing systems processes and implement those daily/weekly/monthly tasks in the BTSSC
footprint.
Accountable for the day-to-day timeliness and data integrity of the process under the BTSSC
responsibility.
Supporting day-to-day operation as needed for exception handling and scheduling automated processes
according to a fiscal calendar
Daily security administration of financial systems including provisioning, terminating, and conducting
periodic reviews of access in accordance with AutoZone’s Identity and Access Management controls
Regular maintenance of certain financial data structures in financial systems for transaction recording and
reporting
Perform month end, period close, quarter close, and year end close tasks in PeopleSoft in support of
period end financials generation.
Leverages VBA, SQL, and other technologies to gain efficiencies in or automate existing processes
May supervise an internal team of Financial System Analysts as more system support functions transition
to BTSSC
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of work experience in requirements gathering and documentation, including one to two years of experience with SAP S/4HANA FI-CO
