(3+ years of experience SEO/AEO Content Analysis)
The SEO/AEO Content Analyst supports search optimization across new and existing marketing content. This role ensures structured SEO and emerging AEO implementation, maintains search hygiene, and improves discoverability across traditional search engines and AI-driven platforms through hands-on, execution-focused work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute routine SEO/AEO content audits and implement recommended updates
- Apply on-page SEO and AEO best practices (metadata, headers, internal linking, formatting for featured snippets and AI search, etc.)
- Optimize existing content for improved rankings, featured snippet capture and AI visibility
- Maintain SEO/AEO, templates, documentation and standards
- Execute routine optimizations of existing content for SEO and AEO
- Monitor priority pages and flag performance declines or optimization opportunities
- Analyze performance data from platforms such as Google Search Console, GA4 and third-party SEO tools to identify trends, content gaps and optimization opportunities
- Develop clear, concise SEO/AEO performance reports that translate data into prioritized action steps
- Monitor keyword performance, content decay and AI visibility metrics and recommend adjustments
- Stay current on SEO and AEO developments, including algorithm updates, AI search experiences and content optimization techniques
Required Qualifications:
- Native-level fluency in American English, with strong editing and content-quality instincts
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SEO, with a strong emphasis on content creation and optimization
- Working knowledge of AEO and a demonstrated curiosity about AI-driven search and answer engines
- Experience using traffic and search tools (e.g., Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz or similar)
- Ability to follow established content and SEO strategies while executing independently and accurately
- Experience with long-form B2B content
- Strong understanding of search intent and keyword mapping
- Experience working within established SEO frameworks and workflows
- Demonstrated ability to analyze search performance data and convert insights into practical optimization recommendations
- Experience creating performance reports for non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with schema markup and structured data implementation
- Experience tracking featured snippets and AI-generated search results

Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, digital media, data analytics or similar 3+ years of experience
- Experience working with US-based professional services firm
