Why This Role MattersAs a (Senior) Analyst, Renewable Energy Solutions , you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering clean energy strategies for commercial and industrial (C&I) clients. From market research and financial modelling to project execution and client engagement, your work will directly support Japan’s decarbonisation goals and our clients’ sustainability journeys.
What You’ll Be Doing- Design & Deliver Projects: Support the development of renewable energy advisory projects, including scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Client Engagement: Identify and nurture relationships with new and existing clients seeking clean energy solutions.
- Market Research: Analyse electricity markets, policy updates, and renewable energy trends in Japan and the APAC region.
- Financial Modelling: Assist in evaluating project economics and supporting international teams with data analysis.
- Contract Support: Help negotiate and execute agreements for utility-scale and onsite renewable energy projects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (engineering, legal, finance) to ensure project success.
- Customer Success: Ensure high-quality delivery and ongoing client satisfaction through proactive communication and performance tracking.
- Thought Leadership: Stay informed on emerging technologies, incentives, and regulatory frameworks to guide clients with confidence.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Sustainability, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in renewable energy, project development, corporate PPAs, or energy procurement.
- Strong understanding of Japan’s energy market, regulatory landscape, and global renewable energy trends.
- Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Japanese and business-level English (Korean or Chinese is a plus).
- Starting with 1 year contract
