POSITION: Analyst, Renewable Energy Solutions

POSITION:
The Analyst, Renewable Energy Solutions will actively participate on Developer Relations, Developer Outreach Programs and Markets Research in the EMEA practice.
The role will provide comprehensive support in the operational delivery of customer mandates and services within the practice. The position is critical in building and delivering operational excellence via research and analytics of renewable energy markets and in furthering and developing relationships with 3rd Parties. The candidate should have rounded experience and excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop Developer Relations (Onsite and Offsite Developers)
- Maintain and deepen existing Developer relationships
- Foster, develop and drive new Developer relationships and potential future partnerships
- Review, track and catalogue Developer/Green Producer Landscape and ecosystem
- Market Research
- Capture project learnings and actionable intelligence into categorisation and in-house data and information libraries.
- Support the review and research of relevant commercial, technical, regulatory energy market developments
- Create content for internal and external use
- Translate and consolidate research and analysis into clear visualisation or stories
- Support Business Development in selected EMEA locations
- Support day to day focus, objectives and KPIs
- Delivery support in selected EMEA locations
- Support the team through inputs to analysis and financial modelling and providing base / input research
- Support evaluation of offtake and pricing structures for Power in European markets
- Deliver data analysis in support of commercial negotiations and offtake agreements
PERSON SPECIFICATION (BACKGROUND AND SKILLS):
Essential:
- Preferable 1-2 years of energy or renewable energy experience [solar PV, onshore or offshore wind and other technologies].
- Preferable 1-2 years of external stakeholder engagement experience in client facing or partner facing role in the renewable energy sector.
- Preferably knowledge of Long-Term Power Purchase Agreements and Onsite Power Generation in multiple geographies.
- Knowledge of EU Wholesale Power market and Power Structuring
- Understanding of EU power market mechanics, pricing and hedging behaviours, market actors and grid and permitting dynamics
- Understanding of renewable energy incentives and regulatory structures.
- Analytical research skills and ability to synthesize information and logically structure findings
- Business and financial acumen plus driven on customer-service orientation
- Effective communications skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Effective team player who excels at performing in a collaborative environment
- Bachelors or Master degree in Engineering, Finance or Sustainability or similar
- Multilingual with Business Level language skills in 2 or more European languages.
