About the team and role

Product & Analyst Relations Team

The Product & Analyst Relations team sits within GBG’s Product organization and plays a critical role in shaping how our products and strategy are understood by the market. We partner closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, and Executive Leadership to ensure our innovation, roadmap, and value proposition are clearly and consistently represented to industry analysts and influencers.

This team is responsible for managing GBG’s engagement with leading industry analyst firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and KuppingerCole. Through strategic briefings, inquiries, and advisory sessions, we influence market perception, support enterprise sales motions, and ensure GBG is accurately positioned in key analyst research and evaluations.

Our work goes beyond communications — we act as a bridge between product strategy and external market insight, bringing analyst perspectives back into the business to inform product direction, go-to-market planning, and competitive positioning. Success in this team requires strong product acumen, the ability to translate complex technology into compelling narratives, and confidence working with senior stakeholders internally and externally.

The Role - Analyst Relations Manager

The Analyst Relations Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with industry analysts to enhance GBG’s visibility, credibility, and influence within the identity verification and fraud prevention market. This role will involve managing analyst engagement strategies, coordinating briefings, and ensuring the company is well-represented in key industry reports and research.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute a strategic analyst relations program aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key analysts from leading firms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC, KuppingerCole).
  • Coordinate analyst briefings, inquiries, and advisory sessions to position the company as a thought leader.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, PR and leadership to craft compelling narratives for analyst audiences.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across analyst interactions and reports.
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and supporting documentation for analyst engagements.
  • Monitor analyst research, market trends, and competitor positioning to inform internal stakeholders.
  • Share insights and recommendations to influence product strategy and go-to-market plans.
  • Drive inclusion and favorable positioning in key analyst reports (e.g., Magic Quadrant, Wave, MarketScape).
  • Manage submission processes, deadlines, and data accuracy for analyst evaluations.
  • Track and report on analyst engagement metrics and impact on brand perception and pipeline.

Requirements

Skills we are looking for

  • Experience in Analyst Relations, PR, or related field within technology or cybersecurity sectors.
  • Experience working with identity verification, fraud prevention, or SaaS solutions preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with analyst firms and their research methodologies.
  • Understanding of identity verification, fraud prevention, and compliance landscapes.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and executive teams.
  • Proactive and results-driven with a passion for influencing market perception.
