The Role

We are expanding and seeking a full-time Analyst to contribute to research as well as on-the-ground client support in Thailand. We are seeking a Thai and English-speaking candidate, with a very strong command of both languages. The ideal candidate should have at least one or more years of progressive experience in government relations, law, corporate affairs and/or strategic communications consulting in Thailand. The candidate needs a strong understanding of Thailand’s business, politics, and economics. The candidate must have strong research and writing skills, with a talent for critical thinking and analysis. Candidates should be self-starters who are eager to build their expertise and networks, and thrive in high-pressure situations. Our Analysts will play a critical role in providing solutions to the world’s largest and most respected companies and organizations.

We’re looking for early-career professionals, ideally recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of relevant work experience

What you'll do:

  • Drafting memos, briefings, presentations, and other written materials for clients.

  • Developing policy and regulatory updates produced for internal use and distributed to selected clients.

  • Carrying out media monitoring and analysis.

  • Conducting research on specific regulations, legislations, and policies.

  • Attending meetings and preparing meeting minutes for internal and external distribution.

  • Working on special tasks as needed and assigned.

  • Assisting in website and social media content management.

  • Carrying out English language desk research on a variety of economic and politic issues. Possess a willingness and ability to build networks and relationships with bureaucrats, regulators, other public officials, government institutions, the business community, media, civil society organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Supporting additional operational and administrative activities as required.

Skills Required

  • Fluent Thai and English with very strong command of both languages
  • At least one year of progressive experience in government relations, law, corporate affairs, or strategic communications consulting in Thailand
  • Strong understanding of Thailand's business, politics, and economics
  • Strong research and writing skills, critical thinking and analysis
  • Self-starter who can build expertise and networks and thrive in high-pressure situations
  • Willingness and ability to build networks with bureaucrats, regulators, public officials, business, media, and civil society
  • Early-career candidate preferred (recent graduate or up to one year relevant experience)
