The Role
Supports digital launch readiness by analyzing validation and quality data, producing dashboards and status reports, coordinating readiness reviews and UAT, managing defect triage, and aligning software releases with vehicle milestones. The role also coordinates test environments, updates product documentation, supports global process rollouts, and escalates risks across technical, marketing, operations, CRM, and verification teams.
Summary Generated by Built In

As a member of the Product Integrity & Release Readiness (PIT) team, you will be a hands-on contributor to the operational rhythm, data analysis, and coordination activities that enable the team's singular accountability model for digital launch readiness. Reporting to the Manager of PIT, you will help synchronize software-paced releases with hardware milestones, support quality governance across teams, and help scale a repeatable readiness model from North America to Ford's global markets. This is an execution-focused role for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, process, and people — turning complex validation data into clear, actionable insights that keep every digital launch on track.

Responsibilities
  • Compile, analyze, and synthesize validation and quality data from IS, Product, TPM, and V&V teams into clear status reports and dashboards that feed the team's readiness story.
  • Help run the recurring cadence of readiness reviews, quality gate checkpoints, and cross-team syncs that keep CI/CD software releases aligned with GPDS vehicle milestones.
  • Assist in designing, scheduling, and running journey-level User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios; track defects and sign-off status across stakeholders.
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, and CRM to ensure GTM and customer service scenarios are captured and reflected in the Unified Backlog.
  • Support documentation updates to the Product Requirement Document (PRD), ensuring GTM and operational considerations are incorporated.
  • Coordinate with V&V teams on the setup and upkeep of test vehicles, accounts, and data; monitor post-Job1 cloud deployment activities to keep environments current.
  • Own day-to-day execution of the unified defect triage and escalation process, ensuring issues are logged, assigned, and tracked to resolution.
  • Support the phased rollout of PIT processes from North America to global markets (China, EDM), including documentation and localization of processes.
  • Identify and help eliminate ad hoc coordination inefficiencies; support efforts to reduce per-product QA environment overhead.
  • Collaborate closely with the Manager and cross-functional partners, escalating risks and blockers as needed and contribute to a unified quality culture.
Qualifications

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field required.
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience working with cross-functional teams in complex digital or automotive ecosystems.
  • 1+ year of experience supporting quality assurance, release management, program planning, or related coordination activities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams and stakeholders at once.
  • Comfort working with data — able to pull together information from multiple sources into clear, digestible reports.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Even better, you may have...

  • Familiarity with CI/CD software release practices and/or V-model/GPDS vehicle program milestones.
  • Experience with defect tracking and workflow tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Exposure to UAT design, execution, or test environment management.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-region product launches.
  • An interest in developing skills around translating technical data into executive-ready narratives.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for process improvement and cross-team collaboration.
