Job Purpose
We are currently seeking a Pricing and Reporting Analyst to join our Contract Logistics team, based in Docklands, Melbourne. In this role, you will support pricing, commercial analysis and reporting to drive business growth and profitability, working closely with Commercial, Account Management, Operations, Finance, Billing and Technology teams. You will play a key role in customer tenders and quotations, profitability analysis, pricing models, rate cards, fuel levies and annual pricing reviews. This is a full-time position, with hours of work in accordance with the employment agreement.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop and maintain pricing models, rate cards and commercial solutions across a range of transport services, including parcel, LTL, FTL, dedicated fleet, courier, rail, intermodal and specialist transport.
Prepare pricing responses for customer tenders, RFQs and RFPs by analysing operational, financial and commercial data to develop competitive and profitable solutions.
Analyse customer and carrier profitability, revenue, margins and operational performance to identify commercial risks, cost reduction opportunities and revenue growth initiatives.
Maintain accurate pricing records, contract information, rate cards, version control and audit trails to support pricing governance and data integrity.
Lead and support annual pricing reviews, including rise-and-fall adjustments, fuel levy reviews and contractual rate updates.
Provide commercial analysis, reporting, guidance and recommendations to stakeholders nationally to support informed business and customer decisions.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
3–5 years’ experience in transport pricing, commercial analysis, logistics, supply chain analytics or a similar role, preferably within a 3PL, 4PL, transport, freight forwarding or contract logistics environment.
Experience supporting tenders, RFQs, RFPs, carrier sourcing activities and commercial negotiations.
Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to analyse large datasets and identify profitability drivers and improvement opportunities.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience using Power BI, Transport Management Systems and other reporting tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a high level of attention to detail, data accuracy, accountability and problem-solving capability.

Skills Required
