Job Summary:
The HR Shared Services Representative is a crucial member of the Human Resources team, focused on delivering high-quality HR services to employees across the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a primary contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
• Process a variety of HR transactions with precision, including but not limited to onboarding, status changes, and offboarding activities.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HR database, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy standards.
• Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, helping employees understand their options and facilitating the enrollment process.
• Support HR initiatives by preparing necessary documentation, coordinating meetings, and following up on action items.
• Collaborate with HR team members to identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of solutions.
• Provide reports and analytics to HR management, aiding in the decision-making process and the evaluation of HR services.

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Practical understanding of HR laws, regulations, and requirements.
• Experience with HRIS system and Microsoft 365.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage benefits information and educated employees.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certified Professional • Human Resource (IPMA•CP): Recognizes proficiency in public sector HR practices.
• Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM•CP): Validates HR competency for early• to midcareer professionals.
• SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM•SCP): Demonstrates mastery of strategic and policymaking aspects of HR management.
• Knowledge of Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) and Emotional Intelligence (EI)
Skills:
• Ability to keep track of employee information and maintain organized records.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.
• Capable of making informed decisions and solving problems creatively.
• Comfortable with multitasking and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Approachable and empathetic in dealing with employee concerns.
