The Role

Vita Partners is Asia-Pacific’s largest pan-regional pure-play life science, innovation and R&D real estate platform, backed by an Australian headquartered multinational real estate company and leading US private equity growth investor. The platform focuses on investing, acquiring, developing, constructing, managing, and operating real estate projects in fast-growing life sciences, innovation and R&D real estate markets in Asia-Pacific. The company operates within two main segments – a high-barrier-to-entry life sciences project construction management business and a specialized investment management business. Since the 2000s, the project construction management business has worked on over 200 projects in Asia-Pacific for more than 100 blue-chip life sciences and pharmaceutical companies, with many repeat clients. The investment management business currently manages ~SGD 2 billion of AUM on behalf of institutional investors, with strong aspirations for growth within the region.

We are looking for Analyst, People and Culture.

Reporting to Senior Manager, People & Culture, you will perform various activities to support the set-up and daily operations of our HR programs, services, policies and/ or processes in this new joint venture. The role will require you to work effectively with all key stakeholders, including our employees, businesses, functions and third-party providers, to deliver outcomes. Your key goals will be to ensure smooth running of routine operational tasks, to lead and support the development and communications of policies, as well as to organize activities and programmes for the company.  

Key Accountabilities:

People & Culture Projects and Programmes

  • Collaboration across business units to deliver HR cyclical and non-cyclical activities such as: organisational design, learning & development, talent reviews, D&I strategy, annual performance review and compensation review processes, succession planning, and other HR practices.

  • Project manage defined employee engagement activities, including organizing and publicizing various initiatives such as networking platforms, service recognition platforms, and community activities.

  • Take ownership of customer service and operational execution tasks.

Recruitment, Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Partner business leadership and develop good understanding of business needs and market situation, in order to provide good counsel to business on the recruitment strategies.

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including conducting talent sourcing, interviews, and negotiation, managing external agencies and vendors, conducting reference checks, immigration support including managing work pass matters.

  • Devise and execute the entry-level recruiting strategy, including building and maintaining relationships, marketing to selected universities and government agencies, facilitating the candidate offer and acceptance process, and executing internship programs.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Utilize your proficiency in data analysis to develop and generate standard and ad-hoc reports for business and company, analyse data to derive insights for decision-making. Present data-driven insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Administrative and System Maintenance/ Support

  • Demonstrate an understanding of HR policies and procedures and ability to build relationships with employees, response to their queries, identify and address their needs, in support of a smooth operating process, handling sensitive issues as required.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the HRIS, ensuring system performance and reliability.

  • Provide technical support for users, which may include developing and delivering system documentation, user guides and procedures, training programs and materials for HRIS users.

  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements, and coordinate with IT for system updates, patches, and integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field with 2-3 years experience in a similar capacity.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of Singapore employment act is an advantage.

  • Related experience with HRIS systems and HR processes is an advantage.

  • Relevant experience in recruitment would be an advantage.
